The white tail deer lodge is open year round for mini-vacations and rentals. The lodge downstairs is handicap accessible and has a handicap bathroom and shower and a handicap accessible queen sized bedroom. There is a separate bedroom with bunk beds, a living dining room area with gas fireplace and T.V. , and a small kitchen area. There is a walk out double glass door that overlooks the deer breeding pens where you can experience  up close and personal interaction with the deer. The upper portion of the lodge features a separate living room with T.V., a dining room, a full  kitchen area and a full  bathroom/shower area, as well as two separate bedrooms.  The upper portion of the lodge features a tranquil walk out balcony and an enclosed sunroom overseeing the deer breeding pens. The entire lodge facility is fully furnished and also features a large outside picnic pavilion and barbeque and fire pit area,  horseshoe pits, and numerous walking trails for easy access to wildlife observing opportunities. Numerous bird  nest boxes, bird feeding stations, small ponds with a stream, and numerous wildlife food plot areas give the casual observer a unique viewing opportunity to see numerous wildlife species in their natural habitats.

There are several local restaurants in the area and the Juniata River is only a few miles away and offers excellent bass fishing, canoeing and kayaking. The Body & Soul Community Center is 15 minutes drive from the lodge where you can purchase an all day guest pass for only $5 per person  and enjoy a great work-out in one of the large fitness or  weight lifting rooms, participate in one of the day’s featured fitness, Yoga, or Zumba  classes, try out one of the saunas, or simply enjoy use of the full court gymnasium  or venture outside where you can play a game of Frisbee disc golf.
